I hope the country takes this opportunity to highlight the many attributes of @amyklobuchar She is a moderate of ample character, who understands how to respectfully reach across the aisle, who understands how government works, and is our best chance to offer America with a FAIR choice! Independents and undecided voters will determine the outcome of this election.
Interviewer: ‘There are people who are saying we’re on the brink of a World War III.’
Hill: ‘We’re already in it. We have been for some time.’
Superb but terrifying piece by pre-eminent Russia expert, Fiona Hill

People saying “I could use some mean tweets right now”:
I can think both Trump and Biden are disasters for different reasons.
Maybe those of you who worked for Trump should have worked harder on getting him to act like a semi decent human being.
Everything has consequences.
“I started the process, all the troops are coming home, they (Biden) couldn’t stop the process. 21 years is enough. They (Biden) couldn’t stop the process, they (Biden) wanted to but couldn’t stop the process.”

Statement from CISA (part of Trump DHS) and state officials says the election "was the most secure in American history," dismisses "unfounded claims," says in bold, "There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised."
@megynkelly at what point can we all consciously move past these grievances? There is truth to what you are saying but are those grievances larger and more important than starting the process of healing the rift in our country? Don’t we all have an obligation to “be the change” ?
Lieberman to @AnaCabrera “I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those really outrageous things that President Trump said about John (McCain) cost him a fair number of votes in Arizona.... I have had a vision of McCain up in heaven smiling down at these results.”
When @JoeBiden was just 29, he became one of the youngest people ever elected to the U.S. Senate. Now, he’s projected to be the next president of the United States.
Here’s his emotional #NoteToSelf he penned for @CBSThisMorning in 2016. 🖊
"People with healthy self-esteem do not need to prop themselves up with externals such as income, status, or notoriety, or lean on crutches such as alcohol, drugs, or sex." Here's what they do instead, writes @NeelBurton https://t.co/KuImUu9jHt
Congratulations @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. Joe, we’ve had a long & warm personal relationship for nearly 40 years, and I know you as a great friend of Israel. I look forward to working with both of you to further strengthen the special alliance between the U.S. and Israel.
.@nancycordes recites quote from @senatemajldr on @JoeBiden: "I don't always agree with him, but I do trust him implicitly. He doesn't break his word. He doesn't waste time telling me why I'm wrong. He gets down to brass tacks and keeps sight of the stakes'"
Politics aside, Joe Biden's personal empathy and decency is greater than most. But the contrast with what we've nearly become numb to over the past four years was incredibly stark. Realized just how much "on guard" we've become emotionally.
If Trump is watching Fox right now he has probably taken a bat to the TV. They are not buying the voter fraud claims and are covering Biden respectfully as they await his speech.
