We make some observations, leading us to generate a hypothesis.
Today is #RareDiseaseDay2024 . Endocrinologists are real experts for rare diseases. In fact, the number of endocrine rare diseases is huge. BUT: in Germany many patients appear to remain undiagnosed. A huge challenge for the German healthcare system . . .
And of course: endocrine tumours are a very good example for endocrine #rarediseases : few specialists to serve patients with high-level care and unmet needs especially in rural areas. @RareEndoERN@ERN_EURACAN @LMU_Uniklinikum
