Happy Fourth of July!
For 250 years, the United States of America has stood as a beacon of opportunity and freedom. On this historic milestone, Americans unite to celebrate of the greatest country the world has ever known.
God Bless America.
Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
I'm proud to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday – a moment to reflect on the enduring spirit of the American people, the freedoms we share, and the cherished history we honor today.
BREAKING: The USMNT's win against Bosnia-Herzegovina averaged 24.4 million viewers on Fox, peaking at 31.8 million.
That makes it the most-watched soccer telecast in English-language U.S. history.
Assembly Republicans have repeatedly stressed the importance of a reliable energy grid.
We warned of the potential life-threatening impact of the grid’s failure during an extreme weather event.
On cue, we have a failure during a stretch of days when temperatures will reach 100 in parts of the state.
Decisions in Albany have consequences.
While Democrats are happy to gamble with our energy future to satiate liberal climate activists, Assembly Republicans are demanding a more reliable, responsible & realistic energy approach.

Another ranking confirms what we already know: N.Y. is one of the most expensive childcare states in the U.S.
The @NYS_AM has a plan that would save the average family of 4 an estimated $2,336 annually! The cost of safe, reliable childcare shouldn't equal a mortgage payment.
Our proposal begins with investment in the childcare system, expanding access & tackling affordability for working families.

New York’s Democratic Party is headed in one clear direction – the extreme left.
As Democrats embrace more radical politics, Republicans will continue to be the voice for common-sense, hardworking New Yorkers.
If the allegations in this federal lawsuit are true (and some of them clearly are), the Hochul administration's overhaul of CDPAP, an $11 billion Medicaid home care program, was an even bigger fiasco than it appeared to be -- which is saying a lot
NY's budget process consistently lacks transparency, urgency, and is fueled by dysfunction.
When the most important work is done in the least-effective way, it's a failure.
Albany has to do better.
Another great idea first championed by Assembly Republicans – reducing burdensome red tape, rules and regulations
We can’t stop now, as one of the nation’s worst states for its regulatory environment, New York needs an overhaul to reduce and eliminate rules
When the @NYS_AM introduced the Lights on With Energy Relief (LOWER) Plan, we did so in response to utility bills hikes & growing energy concerns.
Our strategy: keep more money in NYers’ pockets & ensure the state’s energy future with an all-of-the-above approach while protecting consumer choice.
On May 7, Gov. Hochul claimed a budget deal was done (it wasn’t) with total spending at $268 billion (it isn’t).
Without a full financial plan, Democrats passed the state budget without knowing the true cost.
They just know you’re paying for it.
A father of 7 was shot and killed on a Bronx bus after asking a teenager to lower his voice.
Democrats’ Raise the Age has weakened accountability for violent juvenile offenders & put ideology ahead of public safety.
When consequences vanish, innocent NYers pay the price.

Albany’s backwards budgeting: Vote, pass, & then sign the state budget before a full financial picture is released.
Households & small businesses would be bankrupt if this is how they operated.
But Albany Democrats have the option of taxing residents into oblivion.

DOB’s final financial plan shows a bigger budget than what was claimed: $277 billion - an increase of $9 billion.
My bill (A.3940) requires a financial plan BEFORE voting on budget bills. Albany’s backwards budget process needs to end.
Conclusion of session marred by missed opportunities.
At the end of the day, New York is not a more affordable, safer or desirable place for families and businesses to call it home.
Week after week, violence in the subway is the headline.
It’s no longer safe for commuters, families and visitors to take public transportation without fear of being attacked.
The failure to react and protect public safety after so many incidents is simply unacceptable.
This is bad even for you.
All the cringe phony tough talk in the world doesn’t change the fact that you just replaced “mother” with “gestating parent.” It’s gross and it’s wrong.
And Democrats have total control in Albany. That’s why people keep leaving - because no one can afford to live here.
