Good & bad news for those who want to cancel me for my opposition to Israel's Apartheid/Occupation: The good news is that I was cancelled in Vienna where, on Monday, I was to deliver the 2023 Otto Wagner 2023 Lecture, organised by IKA Institute for Art and Architecture (even though I had no intention to refer to the situation in Israel/Gaza). https://t.co/VCxtmrLDmF The bad news, for you good people who want me cancelled, is that the organisers lacked the guts to admit that they were terrified of hosting me because of my opposition to Israel's Apartheid/Occupation. They suggested that we all pretend the lecture was postponed until my new book is out in German. When I refused to participate in that lie, they cited "the current dramatically escalating, geopolitical situation"! The gist of it? Civilised Middle Europe recoils in horror when faced with a principled opposition to Israel's Apartheid. And then, immediately afterwards, covers up its cowardice in lies.

And the forced expulsions continue to this day.
