Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were seen sharing a light moment during Friday’s 25th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero, where grieving families gathered as the names of those killed were read aloud.

The annual ceremony centers on victims’ relatives reading the names of those killed in the September 11 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, along with seven moments of silence.
