@PieCorbett Good grief! Is Brain Gym still doing the rounds? I came across it 25 years ago as an NQT and had one of those 'Emporer's New Clothes' moments where I genuinely thought everyone had gone temporarily mad.
@Tesco I hate to main but this is now the 16th time this year that I've stopped to get lunch at a Tesco Express and it's closed because of a delivery and not enough staff. It's not good enough.
@AnnEmmett@Jenny_1884 That is not accurate. Qualified, independent prescribing pharmacists are allowed to assess, diagnose and prescribe for a range of conditions. A chest infection falls into the allowed conditions.
I call this 'Beanbag Leadership'. "And what did the teacher do to make you swear at her? Never mind, go and have a sit on the beanbag in my office". I wish I was exaggerating.
Thoroughly depressing article. All the eduvoices that have led to this carnage are present in England too, and we need to be constantly vigilant to prevent them getting anywhere near the levers of power.

Daughter, who is studying Veterinary Medicine, rang me. "Guess what we were taught about today? Learning styles". Why? Why is this nonsense still doing the rounds?
@dsprimed@tombennett71 When I was organising an edu conference with a couple of other wonderful people, @tombennett71 was incredibly generous and helpful with his advice and time. Huge respect for him.
