This student works for access to “Spa Time!” His teacher makes it authentic by greeting him with, “Sir, do you have an appointment ? What are we doing for you today?” Now that’s motivating! 👍✅
You teach your students self-regulation and self-care, but don’t forget about doing the same with yourselves!
This week’s ABASE PLC is about self-care and self-regulation, and comes with a complementary goodie bag!
We are back!!!! After a year and a half hiatus, we held our first in person CPI training. It was so refreshing to work through navigating how to work with people who are using their behavior to communicate with a great group of educators! @CPI_Training@k12albemarle
For all my educators, schools staff, parents, or anyone who is interested in behavioral tips, strategies, and resources follow the ACPS Behavior Analysts on Twitter @AcpsBxTeam !!
If there's anything the majority of parents can agree upon in these divisive times, it's this: Remote learning is hard. In the spirit of making it a bit easier, one teacher's viral post is doing just that. @GMA@GSBrownABC https://t.co/VOJ94JVy8B
This week I started coming back to my office a few days a week, I can't believe how long I've been gone! So glad to be back, it makes it feel somewhat normal 😳 Thanks to the coworker who gave me this awesome calendar!
Today I had the pleasure of doing a virtual training with most of the teaching assistants who will be supporting in-person instruction this fall. Let me tell you, their positivity was infectious! I can't wait to see the way this attitude impacts their students next week!
To all my fellow educators out there, whether you are providing in person or virtual instruction, you are all innovative, creative, and down right amazing. Remember we all have never done this before. Be kind, patient, and empathetic to your team. We are stronger together!
