Politicians like Keir Starmer and Anthony Albanese have enabled Israel’s genocide in Gaza and materially support US-Israeli war crimes in Iran and Lebanon.
Then they visit our mosques on days like Eid, expecting smiles, selfies and photo ops.
What did they think would happen?

‼️ 30 GRADUATES WALK OUT OF LLC graduation this morning in their steadfast support for the Palestinian people whilst @EdinburghUni struggles to maintain silence and disingenuous cordiality to guise their complicity!
Brave protestor stands out at the Moray House School of Education graduation ceremony and shows solidarity with Palestine on stage. Power to those who stand, albeit alone, for justice. 🇵🇸✊
Oxford Admin forced the closure of our encampment. But our fight for a free Palestine continues as long as the University remains complicit in israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza. We will not rest until our demands are met.

What followed was a disgusting display of racialised police brutality by the Met Police against peaceful LZ campers.
In this footage, you will see how the Met Police shoved comrades to the ground, placed individuals under a chokehold, and violently arrested people of color.
We ask the Edinburgh University Administration:
Does the blood of our martyrs make you uncomfortable?
Does your historical role in the 1917
Balfour Declaration and the 1948 Nakba make you ashamed?
More importantly, do you think this will all blow over silently?
