This video, recorded in Lagot, Kitgum District exemplifies the criminality of Museveni's regime of blood and national shame. UPDF soldiers under the command of a GISO are severely beating up a man who they accuse of stealing a motorcycle. Despite his pleas that he is innocent, they do not stop beating him. They simply want him to accept that he stole the motorcycle or they will continue the torture!

The way they tied him with ropes before beating him is similar to the many stories we have heard from our people who have been lucky to get out of those torture chambers. It is notable and telling that more than 24 hours after one of its loudest media mouthpieces, ZimDaily, published an outrageously crude caricature of King Lobengula in the form of a cartoon, which is indescribably offensive; neither @CCCZimbabwe nor its usually loquacious “new” leaders have condemned the caricature, which smacks of despicable tribal hatred based on crass colonial propaganda about King Lobengula, meant to falsify and demonise the identity, history, culture and standing of AmaNdebele, as Zimbabweans and as a people.

The obvious conspiracy of silence is undoubtedly a loud endorsement of the terribly offensive cartoon.

What has made this awful situation worse, is that some in our midst have purported to be condemning the outrageous cartoon while at the same time reposting it, thus republishing and it spreading it further and wider.
