PSU, OSU was in Happy Valley and put on a decent performance in what is widely agreed to be the toughest environment to play in (even when not in white out conditions). @joelklatt says...toughest thing to do in CFB is to win on the road.

That's why B1G should get rid of east vs (weak) west champ game. Top two, regardless of whether or not they played previously, play for the B1G title. Both can still go into the playoffs (like Georgia and Alabama last year). Expand playoffs-- 2 SEC & 2 B1G teams will go often.
