@thwacknicklaus That's not an apples to apples comparison. If my ball hit a divot and bounced forward, I wouldn't walk it back either. But if it was resting on a sprinkler head, then yes, I would get relief. I don't know where I stand on the divot debate, but that's not a great comparison.
