@gmcuk Stop doing the government's dirty work and turning a blind eye @gmcuk. PAs ARE replacing doctors - there are doctors who can't even find jobs any more because PA jobs are taking theirs. As a patient I want to be treated by a DOCTOR not an unqualified PA.

@doctor_oxford The NHS appears to be using PAs to defund the NHS and cut drs. @TheBMA should be campaigning like mad against this and telling patients everywhere of their RIGHT to be seen by a doctor not a PA. Make this patient driven and you could win this battle.

The NHS must be the only public sector employer that does not pay for the professional development of its own staff. It is no wonder they're leaving in droves

Do you not think Dr's have a few more professional considerations like the fact that it is easier to combine practice with research in other countries than in NHS?
