Today, by order of the President, the United States Department of War released images and renderings of UFOs.
As a Bible believer, I look at these things through the lens of Scripture - not Hollywood, science fiction, or government narratives.
The Bible tells us that before creation, “the earth was without form and void.” In other words, there was no ancient extraterrestrial civilization roaming the universe before God created the heavens and the earth.
At the same time, Scripture is very clear that there are spiritual entities beyond the human realm. Paul writes in Ephesians 6 about “principalities,” “powers,” and “spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
So if these entities are real - and if they are not part of God’s earthly creation - then there are only two possibilities: angelic or demonic.
Holy angels serve the Lord and carry out His will. Demons serve Satan, the father of lies and the author of confusion.
That is why the darkness, fear, deception, and mystery surrounding the entire UFO and extraterrestrial phenomenon lead me to one unavoidable conclusion: this is not from God.
I believe it is demonic.
For those people saying, “If @MrsErikaKirk were truly grieving, she would’ve taken a year off for her kids and therapy”:
Coretta Scott King led a march in Memphis DAYS after MLK’s assassination and kept fighting for civil rights for decades.
Myrlie Evers-Williams jumped right into activism after Medgar’s murder, raised their 3 kids, and later ran the NAACP.
Ethel Kennedy raised 11 children while pushing the Kennedy family’s political and social causes.
Betty Shabazz, who was there when Malcolm X was killed, raised their 6 daughters, got her doctorate, became a prominent activist, and spent her life protecting his legacy.
Elisabeth Elliot stayed in the jungle with the tribe that murdered her husband and kept doing missionary work.
Some women are just built different. They throw themselves into their husband’s cause instead of falling apart. It’s called “immersion” and is common in grief.
You might not like it, but you don’t matter. That woman will protect and continue her husband’s legacy, no matter how awful you people are.
@beholdisrael Preach it, brother Amir! I realize I'm fighting all of Christendom on this, but why why WHY must we take the name of a pagan goddess and slather it all over the celebration of our glorious Savior's resurrection?? I have to stay home on Resurrection Day cuz I find it so abhorrent.
@samuel_leeds@Jezzadiah I'm sick at heart about that too. You see it here in the US as well, although it's even more strident in the UK. Love your plan! (Many of them are old Methodist churches, right? Sad remnants of what was once a great revival!)
JUST IN: Vice President JD Vance compares the left's obsession with abortion to the child sacrifice of the Mayans, says every child is wonderfully made by God.
Vance also warned America against turning to paganism.
"As important as all this politics stuff is, it is about whether we will remain a civilization under God or whether we ultimately return to the paganism that dominated the past."
"Today, the far left in this country tells our young people that marriage and children are obstacles, that it's irresponsible, even immoral, because of climate change or some other reason..."
"They tell us that life itself is a burden, but we here at this march, we know that it's a lie. We know that life is a gift."
"We know that babies are precious because we know them and we love them, and we see the way that they can transform our families."
"We know that family is not just the source of a great joy, but it's part of God's design for men and women, a design that extends outward from the family to our neighborhoods, to our communities, and to the United States of America."
I listened to Erika Kirk’s full speech at the memorial, and I want to share a few thoughts that came to me while live streaming the event. This is not political.
First, I should say that I grew up as a Muslim in a Muslim country. I don’t know enough about Christianity to say if what I witnessed is rooted in faith or culture. But what struck me most was how, even though death is heavy and this was by nature a sad occasion, the entire event carried a celebratory spirit that honored life.
That contrast hit me deeply. In Islam, even though we believe that good people go to heaven, the relationship with God is taught through fear. Funerals are overwhelmingly sad, often filled with warnings of the terrifying first night in the grave. Growing up hearing that, and then witnessing people celebrate life, speak of God’s love, and remember someone through the impact he had on others; it felt so refreshing, so positive.
Second, I was profoundly moved by @MrsErikaKirk’s words. I cannot fathom the strength it takes to stand and deliver such a meaningful speech after losing the love of your life. But even more than that, the grace it takes to forgive the very person who destroyed your world. I cannot imagine myself standing on a stage, sending love to those who cheered your husband’s murder, or inviting others to spread God’s love in response because, as she said, “we do not respond to hate with hate.” That is powerful beyond words.
Again, I am ignorant when it comes to Christianity, but if this is what it truly embodies, then I am envious of those who get to experience that feeling.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
This breaks my heart. An ongoing human rights outrage, happening in plain sight, where women and girls are being treated worse than domestic pets. More has to be done to help these women.
Just three years ago, 30% of Democrats believed that children should be taken away from unvaccinated parents.
Nearly 50% of Democrats believed that the unvaccinated should be sent to camps.
This is what a totalitarian ideology looks like.
They lied about Joe Biden’s cancer, they lied about Joe Biden’s dementia, they lied about Russia collusion, they lied about Brett Kavanaugh, they lied about Jussie Smollett, they lied about Jeffrey Epstein, they lied about Hunter’s laptop, they lied about COVID, they lied about the vaccine, they lied about the 2020 Election, they lied about Jan 6, they lied about the Nord Stream Pipeline, they lied about the Inflation Reduction Act, they lied about Kamala Harris’ poll numbers, and they lied about the wide open southern border.
Why does anyone still listen to them?
