@jamierkennedy@Strandhill_GC It is a cool par four @jamierkennedy……… and a heart breaker into the wind and you’re on a decent score and the opening to the green is 10 feet wide.
First time at Enniscrone GC….
1. A proper golf course. Well conditioned, well laid out through some enormous dunes.
2. Routing (into the dunes then in the low lands and back along the dunes and coast) reminded me of Barnbougle and Wallasey.
3. The stretch from 11-16 is amazing. Back into the largest dunes and to the coast. Back and forth, up and down.
4. Greens were excellent. Noticeably pure and almost glassy/shiny in places already and it’s just May.
5. When the locals tell you they moved up their competition for wind, you know you’re in for it. Hit a 2-iron from 160 on one hole and a PW from 180 on another.
6. Feels like you can choose your own adventure on nearly every hole. Either taking on carries and blind shots or laying back and taking on longer approaches.
7. These courses are so integrated with the towns they are in. Social hubs, meeting places and you see every age and gender of players out on the course. Endearing quality.
Holy. Fucking. Shit. You simply have to watch this to even believe it’s possible.
Just listen to Sadiq Khan get the most updated crimes figures read out to him, and even with the facts made available, this Islamist weasel still lies through his teeth and denies reality.
London is so cooked. And it really begs the question as to who or what is protecting the Mayor who seems to be untouchable no matter what he does.
Britain is simply broken and I do not believe it can be fixed. It is too far gone and the people are still too cowardly to rise up and fight for it.
Every 12 DAYS, China's carbon emissions exceed Australia's total annual emissions.
Consequently, Australia's efforts to achieve net zero emissions would be offset by China's emissions in just two weeks.
Net Zero is a scam of massive proportions!
Small objects can show that gravity is real.
The Cavendish experiment proved that even tiny masses pull on each other, showing gravity works everywhere, not just between planets.
When you think about #LUFC’s recent past:
Players refusing to play, demanding to be transferred, having to train on their own, being told by their club captain: “if you don’t want to be here, f*** off”.
Contrast all of that to:
Gabriel Gudmundsson - who no one thought should’ve been sent off (including the referee) - going over to the Leeds fans and shaking their hands and personally apologising for seeing red.
Had his name sung at the weekend and again today. An outstanding player and even better guy - someone who epitomises the spirit of this group.
And the difference in culture between certain players of the recent past; and the way this team conducts themselves, has never been more stark.
What are the top 3 countries flooding the ocean with plastic?
- Malaysia dumps 73,000 metric tons a year.
- India cranks out over 126,000 a year.
- And the Philippines? A jaw-dropping 356,000 metric tons - every single year.
And no, your soggy paper straw isn’t fixing any of it.
While rivers vomit city waste straight into the sea by the hundreds of thousands of tons, you’re out there sipping sad lattes through limp cardboard like it’s saving the planet.
