The town of Rutland Massachusetts has canceled its huge annual Fourth of July celebration that has been happening in Rutland for over 100 years! Last week the residents of Rutland voted down a massive override that would’ve resulted in huge property tax increases for many of the residents. This includes senior citizens that cannot afford the increase.

Today residence of Rutland learned that the town has decided to cancel the Fourth of July festivities this year. Yes this is the 250th anniversary of our country! July 4th festivities in Rutland have always been funded by private donations. They are telling the residence that this is not a money problem, they are saying that we don’t have enough police officers and first responders to staff the festivities.

They are blaming this on the failed override. In past years, most of these essential workers have been brought from other communities to help manage this large annualevent in Rutland. Shame on the corrupt politicians that are using a failed override vote to punish citizens of Central Massachusetts and Rutland! It’s just another day and the people’s Republic of Massachusetts!

Brown University did not simply mishandle an incident.
It engineered silence so complete that not a single student dared to break it.

Not one video.
Not one shelter in place clip.
Not one classroom recording.
Not one hallway account.
Not one student willing to say, this is what I saw.

That level of silence does not happen organically.
It is manufactured.
It is trained.
It is enforced through fear of social, academic, and professional punishment.

Brown does not need explicit threats.
It has spent years teaching students which truths are permitted, which facts are dangerous, and which narratives will get you ostracized or quietly destroyed.

Students understand the rules.

So they complied.
Perfectly.

A place where students are afraid to document reality is no longer a school.
A place where truth is subordinate to ideology has forfeited its legitimacy.

Shut it down.
Pull accreditation.
Freeze funding.
Remove leadership.
