It has been 8 months, and my Father's land mutation in Ambala Cantt is still pending.
Even after a formal memo from higher authorities, the concerned Anuj Patwari continues to delay the process by repeatedly asking me to “come tomorrow,” without providing any written reason or timeline.
This is not a delay. This is harassment.

I request your urgent intervention.

Most athletes dream of million-dollar endorsement deals.
Victor Wembanyama turned some down.
Not because the money wasn't enough.
Because he didn't want to promote soda to kids.
And that reveals something fascinating about influence..

The next time you see a photograph of flamingos painting the wetlands pink, remember you are witnessing the resilience of an entire ecosystem that continues to survive in the shadow of a modern city and asking only to be protected.

The wetlands are valuable for far more than flamingos.
Mangroves help stabilize coastlines, reduce erosion, store carbon, improve water quality, and provide protection against extreme weather events.
11+
Despite their importance, these habitats face growing pressure from pollution, habitat degradation, disturbance, and rapid urban expansion.
Protecting wetlands is becoming increasingly important for both wildlife and people.

The importance of these wetlands was formally recognized when the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary was established.
The sanctuary now protects one of the most significant urban wildlife habitats in the country.
🦩 Do you know a city that turns pink every year inspite of its traffic, high-rises, ports, and concrete.
It's a story about how nature survives in the middle of a metropolis when thousands of flamingos arrive. 🧵

Their synchronized movements are not random.Flamingos are highly social birds that feed, rest, display, and often move together as a group.
This collective behavior is one of the reasons their gatherings are so mesmerizing to witness.
6+
Watching a flock of flamingos take flight is an unforgettable experience.
Thousands of wings beat in unison.
Calls echo across the wetlands.
The birds rise together, circle gracefully, and return to the water with astonishing precision.

What appears to be empty mudflats from a distance is actually a thriving ecosystem.Every tide brings nutrients into the creek.Every mangrove root shelters life.
Every patch of wetland supports an intricate web of species.
3+
The wetlands of Navi Mumbai offer exactly that. The shallow waters contain algae, diatoms, and countless microscopic organisms that form the foundation of the flamingos' diet.
Without these wetlands, the birds would have no reason to return.
"You don't live on a planet.
You are a planet."
About 70% of the human body is water and the oxygen filling your lungs is produced largely by Earth's forests and oceans.
The calcium in your bones, the iron in your blood, and the minerals in every cell were forged through Earth's natural cycles.
You are not standing apart from nature.
"YOU ARE NATURE."
Yet every year, millions of hectares of land are degraded, biodiversity continues to decline, and climate change is increasing the frequency of extreme weather events around the world.
•When soil loses its life, food systems become weaker.
•When rivers are polluted, communities suffer.
•When forests disappear, the climate becomes less stable.
World Environment Day is not about saving a distant planet. It is about protecting the systems that make our own existence possible.
The Earth is not asking us to rescue it.
It is asking us to remember that our future and its future are the same.
🌍 Happy World Environment Day.

Cockroach logic - we want to exercise our rights, but why should we take any responsibilities of following the rule of the land.
Your responsibilities are someone else's rights.
A right's based society will only become a land infested with "so called revolutions and protests". No peace, structure, solution will come out of it.
A responsibilities based society will make the youth builders, innovators, thinkers instead of disrupters and destroyers.
In a city like Chennai that is constantly rushing forward, do you sometimes long for places that make you pause? 💛
I recently came to know about one such place.
Tucked away in the busy lanes of Saidapet, not far from the ancient Karaneeswarar Temple, is the Jeeva Samadhi of Sri GuruLinga Swamigal, a Siddhar whose presence is still felt by countless devotees.😇
Very little is known about GuruLinga Swamigal among the general public today. Yet devotees speak of him with immense reverence and regard him as a realized soul who continues to bless those who come seeking his grace.
Those who have visited often speak about the contrast.
Outside, the bustle of Saidapet. Inside, an atmosphere of stillness and silence.
We often travel far in search of sacred places. Sometimes, a Mahaan is waiting for us just around the corner.🙏
