Supervisors thought he needed to first consider the core argument of the introduction, to make it clear why the paper was even needed

Got paper back from peer-review. Spent full day on revisions before I realize:
Reviewer2 is simply unedited ChatGPT output.
Explains the fundamental misunderstandings, and requests that do not make any sense.
What to do?
