@fedpst@NMowbray23 It's honestly not the answer - or not in their current format - however well meaning. We need to measure impact, not how money is spent. Have a look at the work of @danpallotta

2/2 We definitely need better ways to assess charity impact. But saying 'charity' is like saying 'business'. It ranges from sole traders through to large corps. Happy to work with you towards some possibilities!
@NMowbray23@nmowbray23 Because the charity watchdog system employed in the US erroneously equates low overheads with efficiency and effectiveness. I've just completed my doctoral research on this very issue. It causes mis-reporting and under-investment in essential infrastructure. 1/2

@StevenBartlett Maybe, if both partners are happy with the traditional gender roles in a relationship. But otherwise, you need to compromise and find ways to make it work for both of you - and this isn’t it!

@drkeithsiau@theliverdoc Why post this? You’ve now undermined your apology. I’m anti-woke and still disagreed with your post. Why not simply say that no - ‘they’ didn’t get me - I simply made a mistake? Not every apology needs to be blamed on wokism. Sometimes we’re just wrong 🤷🏼♀️
@theliverdoc@drkeithsiau Sorry -,I don’t agree this was about wokism or free speech. The original post, while well-intentioned, showed a lack of appreciation of the risks and decisions that face women when giving birth. It implied cesareans are a choice, when they are mostly medically necessary.
@helenstaniland This just doesn’t make sense. I have also had a double mastectomy and a woman with mastectomy scars in no way resembles a male physique!! I call bullshit…
@liberty4all2023@DocAhmadMalik I’m sorry but this is completely different and a normal way to sit in a business setting. I have often interlaced my fingers like this.
