I used to just be purely excited to see dogs walk past the window, and now I find myself saying things like “Look at that cute little fluffball! Poor thing looks like it’s having some issues with it’s left hind leg.”

I’ve spent most of this week post-processing videos of dogs walking and they are just so cute and happy to be doing a good walk. It makes a tedious and time consuming task still quite enjoyable 😊

You’d think that after 2.5 years here I’d be used to Cambridge’s term schedule by now, but I still find myself surprised every March that term is over and my students are on holiday for 6 weeks. I keep having to remind myself I don’t need to prep supervisions this week.

#AcademicChatter #phdvoice Anyone have recommendations for free online collaborative notebooks? I’m looking for something like OneNote where I can have multiple infinite size pages in a single section/book, but that can be used for synchronous remote sessions.

I’ve tried OneNote, which has far too much lag, Jamboard, which is not infinite and won’t let me expand the page as needed, and Microsoft Whiteboard, which doesn’t work well for managing multiple pages.

@katiedimartin Americans do this too. I ran into a neighbour while moving to Boston to start at MIT. She asked where I was going to college and when I said MIT she responded with, “Oh, is that in Philadelphia or something?”
