@flynnlaura_ Nice surprise๐ตto see you in class today. Good to see those em-dashes have finally come in handyโremember P Modra would say better em-dashes than hyphens.
Penny is the queen of making grammar fun (oops, I wrote grammer yet again). She even makes you think you can be an editor, no matter how many times you get everything wrong.
Had a great day - went to the creek and there was only one other person there. Finally, the covid crowds have gone back to their malls/cafes/gyms/jobs and it's just me and the trees again. Solitude at last.๐
In fairness, the birds weren't too happy to see me.
All of @hollyblack's covers are stunning, but I wanted to try my hand at redesigning my favourite book of hers, The Darkest Part of the Forest ๐ (made with Canva)
@LZembekis Your reading was so beautiful Lara. Feel very lucky that I got to experience it. Canโt wait for my copy of the anthology to come so I can relive it โค๏ธ
I love how you've got this strange aurora borealis effect on the walls and your cute little face poking our from behind the anthologies. No such thing as too excited.
Thanks for a great launch everyone - it was an honour to read my piece. Btw this photo is so funny - my video was off, but my mother's video was on - bottom row, second from the left. She always was the show-pony of the family.๐
Book launch, 2020 style. Big love to all the graduating @RMIT_PWE students for their great work on this 'Spiral' anthology, @danielle_binks for the inspiring speech, @joshmdurham for the cover and @9fragments for the pitch perfect tribute to Ania Walwicz.
