SIMEX day 1: a mass casualty exercise, with our healthcare students and staff working with our NHS, military & wider disaster response partners to prepare for major incidents. The exercise is held in our Centre for Simulation in Health and Care and on location across the city.
Today, with huge thanks to Ealing Hospital, we planted a tree - the UK’s only memorial to NHS staff who have died by suicide. May they rest in peace, and may we redouble our efforts to stop it happening ever in the future. 3/3

Today was day 2 of the SIMEX mass casualty simulation exercise. Our Centre for Simulation in Health and Care was turned into an Emergency Department, receiving and triaging casualties from a simulated major incident. 1/4
