In Australia, where I live, Indigenous groups (oldest continuous civilisation globally at >80,000 years) have associated traditions around people who are gender non-conforming.

And while we don’t affirm anorexia sufferers we support them and help them lessen their symptoms of body dysmorphia—or at least should. If we’re comparing 🍎&🍊it’s just as easy to do the same for trans people.
