What is truth? La vie simple? La dolce vita?
To answer these questions will require us to embark on a journey. To go through a test of wills throughout our lifetime.
What I find beautiful about museums and historical homes is that they are all carry stories in the form of heirlooms. Some heirlooms are much more delicate and unassuming than they are grandiose, but they are the remnants of the past that our ancestors wanted to cherish and pass on to the future generations. Architecture and antiquities that have withstood the test of time — they give us hope. What will we leave behind?
@LaGulbranson The architecture in museums (& art in general) always remind me to both do and be.
These beautiful buildings that house beautiful pieces are beautiful pieces all on their own.
Inspiration is everywhere, they say. Sometimes you find it within the comforts of home. And sometimes, you have to do the rash thing.
To do rather than overthink and dwell in all your worries. But also “to be” rather than do and operate like a cog in a machine.
Life is so much more beautiful, so much more electric when we decide to breathe, and live, and open our eyes and senses to what is in front of us.
The city calls. Its soul has wings, and while I still have my worries, I’m very glad to be here in the city that never sleeps.
New York City, where soul meets spirit. ✨
@adele_bloch@_buildspace This is inspiring, Adele! You’ve built such a meaningful community in SF. I’m glad I could take part in it during the walks and dinner. 🥹 I hope you’ve given your soul all the time it needs to reset, rest, and reflect before the next chapter unfolds! 🫶✨
@heytaliaj True presence is finding the divine in every person, place, and moment. Such a beautiful reflection, Talia. 🥹 And we were passing ships. I’m in NYC now! 🙈
I’ve been meeting beautiful people in beautiful places, my dears. Mortal work has forced me at a crossroads, and I feel the resistance take hold of me again. For the moments I lose sight of the vision, I must remember:
Make meaningful connections, write, create. Carve out a life worth writing about. Watch sunsets with strangers. Be grateful and present with the moment — because the moment is your lover.
When we learn to love the moment relentlessly, we will find the peace, meaning, and love we’ve been looking for.
