Gisèle Pelicot finished taking the stand in mass rape trial against 51 men, and said the "macho, patriarchal society that trivialises rape" must change. What this woman has done for history and women is astounding, her courage unfathomable, no honour is too great. MERCI 💙🤍♥️
On this day, a tiny town in Canada opened up its hearts — and its homes — to 7,000 stranded passengers in a desperate time of need.
They didn’t care about politics, or who the President was. They did it because it's what Canadians do best.

It’s just occurred to me that with Oasis reuniting we might be about to see a resurgence of lads playing Wonderwall on their guitar at a house party/on a date and as someone who survived it the first time .. I can’t do it again.
Thousands upon thousands of antifascists out tonight across the country to smash the far right.
This is what a mass movement looks like ✊🏾

Baffles me that young men look up to the likes of Andrew Tate when there are brilliant role models of healthy, non-toxic masculinity like Adam Peaty about.
@JayperryP@NickWhithorn You can still use WiFi during the day without being a customer standing on the outside 🤷
I had forgotten the website - true, can't use it a night 😂
Whilst many tune into watch England in the #EURO2024 final, watching in hope and anticipation, remember many women and children will be watching for different reasons…
Domestic abuse increases by 26% when England win or draw and by 38% after a defeat at a major tournament.
