I lost over $5,000 in $KNINE exposure when the SHIB bridge to Shibarium was compromised.
And I think your research is asking the right question, but the SHIB ecosystem damage goes much deeper than basic “pump and dump” mechanics.
That was the surface wound.
The real infection was in the machinery.
A validator compromise allegedly led to 10 of 12 validators approving a malicious transaction. That is not some retail trader aping a green candle. That is the supposed trust layer folding like wet cardboard while regular holders carried the loss.
Then there is $LEASH.
A token canonized for years as scarce became buried in rebase and supply controversy. Not normal volatility. Not market conditions. A supply integrity crisis wearing a dog mask.
And while this was happening, the ecosystem was wrapped in sermons, riddles, spiritual cosplay, silence, and moderators acting like basic questions were acts of treason.
$SHIB, $BONE, $LEASH, $TREAT, NFTs, Shibarium, bridges, validator sets, “partner” projects, and every token that rented credibility from the brand all sat inside the same blast radius.
My $KNINE loss was not a chart-reading problem.
It was what happens when retail is sold mythology, loyalty, decentralization, and destiny, while the real risk hides in validator design, bridge custody, supply mechanics, governance theater, and leadership that answers crises with Bible rants instead of accountability.
The real study is not only “who got dumped on?”
It is:
Who trusted the machine?
Who built the machine?
Who defended the machine?
And who vanished, deflected, or preached when the machine started eating people?
As someone who has hosted Bitcoin events and crypto meetups I see this story way to often
Some Bitcoin Maxis don’t like crypto because a huge percentage of the space is vaporware and scams which I understand
Some crypto people don’t own bitcoin because of experiences like this with maxis which i understand

Sad that people are still doing this. This is not how we onboard the next billion, let alone 1.
