Flight attendant: Is there a doctor onboard?
Dad: *nudging me* that should've been you
Me: Not now Dad
Dad: Not asking for a cycling blogger, are they?
Me: Dad, there's a medical emergency happening right now
Dad: Go ask if making a snarky comment about Paris-Nice would help
@SmallerFishGAA I agree, but possession is defined as well!
"Possession shall include a player being in control of the ball as specified
in any one or more Rule 1-The Play sub-sections 1.3,1.4,1.7"
Those subsections focus only on carrying and soloing the ball.
Bad rule. Red card anyway.
@MarinerMuse What really sealed it for me was that they weren't willing to have him pinch-hit for Williamson in the 9th inning on Friday and have Moore play 3rd base. This roster is a mess.

@ByRobertMurray@mikedeportes HCG can be naturally produced by men if they have testicular cancer. This has caused positive drug tests in other sports in the past. Seems ridiculous to ask, but I take it this has been ruled out?
@thejagepage I consider it very bad news that they aren't saying whether they've been invited to meet with Sasaki. Given how loud they've been about going after him, I have no doubt they would have shouted from the rooftops about it if they had been granted a meeting.
@MarinerMuse Did you see the in-game interview with him in spring training? I liked the hire until seeing that, not because of anything he said in particular, but he very strongly gave the impression of a 'feel the ball, be the ball' sort, and not a 'pull fly balls' sort.
@Goose1701 I agree with you - when I first saw it I thought the same and assumed he was somehow out of options, but that certainly isn't the case. Don't see why they'd feel the need to phantom-IL him.
@jjcoop36 Thinking out the craziest situation possible.
If Italy gave up four runs, their only way to survive would be to give up two more runs, get it to extra innings, keep the Netherlands scoreless for three innings and win it 10-7 with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 12th.
