For generations, Indigenous people have protected their lands, languages, knowledge, and traditions.
On Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor these many contributions and recommit to working alongside Indigenous people to ensure their communities thrive for generations to come.
The former president called those who served our country “suckers” and “losers.”
Was John McCain a “sucker”? Was my son Beau?
His words are not only wrong, they’re un-American.
I wasn’t born rich and became the youngest woman in American history to be elected to Congress.
Then I investigated Cohen, authored the largest FEMA funeral assistance program in history and led creation of a US Climate Corps to create tens of thousands of new jobs.
Stay mad 💁🏽♀️
I'm not seeing enough people talking about this horrific move by Republican officials in Alabama to restrict women's freedom of movement. You've got to be kidding me.

It wasn't that long ago that America was losing jobs. My predecessor was one of only two presidents in history who left office with fewer jobs than when he entered.
We created more jobs in two years than a president has ever created in a single four-year term.
I signed the most significant piece of clean energy legislation—the single largest investment combating the existential threat of climate change anywhere in the world.
Not a single Republican voted for it.
This is the burial site of Leonard Matlovich. Following three deployments in Vietnam, Matlovich earned both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. On March 6, 1975, after a dozen years of service, he handed a letter to his commanding officer, disclosing his homosexuality. Despite his commendable achievements and outstanding military record, Matlovich was declared unfit for service and promptly discharged. He initiated a legal battle to regain his position, swiftly becoming a prominent figure in the gay rights movement during a period when LGBT advocacy was still striving for recognition in the United States.
Here's an excerpt from Matlovich's conversation with Studs Terkel, just a few months following his discharge:
"My philosophy now is that everyone in the world should be allowed to do what they want, when they want, where they want to do it, as long as what they're doing does not violate the rights of another human being.”
"What two consenting adults do in their bedroom is their business and no one else's. And for someone to put them down or... Just that two men can touch and love and have feelings of to want and be wanted and to need and be needed and to desire and be desired and just to love and be loved, I think is very, very beautiful. And that parents growing up today will give our little children guns, and we are very proud of them when they play Cowboys and Indians and run around. But when they show emotions and, and love, and two little boys touch, people get uptight, and they're so afraid that their child may, may love. It's very sad."
I can't get over the collective shrug this story is getting. The presumptive @GOP presidential candidate doxxes the Obamas on truth social, posting alleged address. A J6 def retruths it & then drives to address. Secret Service arrest J6er in his van with 2 guns & 100s of rounds/1
