The lab focuses on signals that control T cell metabolism, migration and differentiation. Tweeting news and chat. @UoDCellSigImm @UoDLifeSciences @dundeeuni
New human T cell #proteomics data has been added to ImmPRes. The IL2 deprivation is particularly cool, you can see how amino acid transporters drop abundance dramatically after 24h IL2 deprivation.
Our #neutrophil#proteomics showing changes in acute disease and delayed recovery is now live at @ERSpublications
Delayed recovery is linked to metabolic dysfunction, changes in migratory receptors and granule content.
High-resolution #massspectrometry#proteomic analysis of peripheral blood neutrophils from >200 individuals provides novel insights into neutrophil phenotypes during acute COVID-19 and reveals altered neutrophils persist in convalescent COVID-19 patients https://t.co/qAdMUIzPqf
"Early View" of our latest manuscript. We used #proteomics to study >300 neutrophil proteomes from COVID-19, LRTI and control patients, unravelling markers of acute severity, temporal changes and a signature of delayed recovery.

We look forward to hearing your highlights 🙌
New pre-print from @AJ_Brenes@Christapbaker @SimonAr09230172 about optimising data quality when doing DIA proteomics, this case looking at infection models.
@UoDCellSigImm
Our new preprint optimising search parameters in DIA is out. We show DIA suffers effects similar to match-between runs in DDA, with false positives detected across runs.
But we offer simple solution that dramatically reduces them while maintaining proteome depth. #proteomics
