Very excited to share our study in @CellReports on the transcriptional basis of peripheral blood Vδ1+ T cell adaptive differentiation. https://t.co/Fp7bXsjti1
Looking forward to the @BSI_TumourImm Tumour Microenvironment meeting in Birmingham today and tomorrow. Hope to catch up with old friends and colleagues there and hear about some exciting new science!
Want to get up to speed with immune checkpoint blockade therapy for cancer ?
Register now for this online 13-hour CPD course ‘Understanding immune checkpoint blockade therapy: a pillar of modern cancer treatment’, from the University of Birmingham, UK, starting on Jan 24th, 2024.
I am happy to share our recent article at @NatureComms, presenting intricate mechanistic details on antigen - BTN interaction and BTN domains required for optimal Vg9Vd2 T cell activation. https://t.co/S2s8Ki3AqX

Thoroughly enjoyed our @ImmunologyUoB Away Day today. Fantastic posters and presentations by all including our very own @JulietGunn and PhD student Charlotte Begley, who won a prize for her work on splenic γδ T cells!
Pleasure to write a meeting report on the 10th International Gamma-Delta T Cell Conference with @JuRiLibot @eberlmat @LabWillcox@ErinJAdams for @NatImmunol :)

We have a post-doc position available focused on intestinal and cancer immunology. Ideal for PhD students soon to submit, who want to work with some cool in vivo models to better understand immune responses. Position advertised on BSI Jobs Board

We’ve had a fabulous time at #gd2023! Thank you to @BSilva_Santos and Julie Ribot and team for putting on such a superb meeting. Enjoyed the science and catching up with friends and collaborators.
New study on BTN3A1/BTN2A1/Vγ9Vδ2 TCR interactions out now in Cell Reports! @forum_gd We use mutagenesis, NMR and modelling to probe BTN2A1/3A1 IgV interactions. In a cool NMR expt we show that BTN2A1 IgV domain cannot bind simultaneously to BTN3A1 and TCR https://t.co/NtFpIgPeOR
Our study complements a recent preprint by our collaborators in the Hermann lab showing a division of labour between BTN3A molecules in pAg recognition. Also interesting data coming soon from Zhang and Uldrich labs.
