Ephesians 2:7-10 speaks about salvation being through faith and not of works. This doesn’t mean that works are not present as evidence of faith, and that evidence also seems to have some role in justification, but the substance seems to be the faith, and this is corroborated in the definition of faith in Hebrews 11, since faith there is a substance of things hoped for. That substance leads us to do the good works we were created to do as mentioned in Eph 2:10.

That’s great that you aren’t against Christian morality, but what defines it? Sin is still the transgression of the law which includes the 10 commandments written by the finger of God on tablets of stone and given to Moses. Those laws existed before Moses and before the Mosaic covenant. Paul is saying we establish those as Christians. Those laws don’t save us, but it isn’t accurate to say we aren’t under them. They show us what it looks like to walk in the spirit vs walking in the flesh.
