We are happy to announce that the 2022 LACEA-LAMES Annual Meeting will take place in a hybrid format on November 3-5, 2022, and will be hosted by Universidad del Pacífico, Lima - Perú. The deadline for paper submission is June 15, 2022. More here: https://t.co/TK2gQzs1Vm
Here’s an incredibly interesting fact: 22% of the papers submitted were by job market candidates. An additional 9% were by PhD students still undecided of whether or not they weregoing to the market this year. So between a fifth and an third of all submissions were JM candidates!
For #LaceaLames2021 we received 733 paper submissions. We had a scientific committee of 150 scholars (adding LACEA and LAMES) and asked them to rate each paper on a 1 to 5 scale. We accepted only the very best papers (with score 5 and some 4).
We would like to thank the #LaceaLames2021 Scientific Committee for their terrific (and expedite) job. Shoutout to all of them: https://t.co/3SXBMSgNTw

We ended up with 415 acceptances: 57% of the submissions. This implies that the average quality of the submissions was very good! We really regretted to pass on so many good papers
Totally grateful to each and every participant of #LaceaLames2021, whether presenter or attendee, for their help in making this a great conference. We already miss you all.
Gracias Totales!
