Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s first “Parents’ Night Out” gave New York City parents free childcare for four hours on Aug. 16.

The NYC Parks program offered children ages 6 to 13 dinner and activities while their caregivers got time to themselves.

The NYTimes reported hat some parents went on dates or out to dinner, while others went home to relax, shopped or caught up on laundry.

I have two small children and my pediatrician and two pediatrician family members talk all the time about getting back to back or stacked illnesses- it’s super normal. Also my youngest got flu shot but still got Flu A twice…
