Work all day.
Clock out.
Then go run DoorDash till 11PM just to make sure the lights stay on.

You make “too much” for food stamps.
Too much for assistance.

Food stamps covering groceries.
And a fat tax refund check.

And they still saying they struggling.

I worked 14 hours and can’t even afford to sit down and buy myself one decent meal without calculating it three times.

and groceries

Too much when there’s nothing left after bills

So the working parent who did everything “right”

That’s the part nobody wants to talk about.

It’s not about hating anyone.
