Then CBSE Class 12 students receiving unexpectedly low marks from a broken OSM system - many losing their college eligibility.

Now lakhs of CBSE Class 9 students suddenly asked to learn a new language from July 1, with no teachers, no textbooks, and Class 6 books being handed to 14-year-olds as a “transitional” fix.

Three exams. Three age groups. One Minister.

Dharmendra Pradhan ji has not failed once. He has failed every single age group of India’s students at once.

Every announcement plunges children deeper into uncertainty. Every failure goes unpunished. The Education Ministry has become a department of disasters.

Prime Minister Modi ji - can you at least apologise to the lakhs of children whose futures you and your Minister have destroyed?

मोदी सरकार में परीक्षा प्रणाली पूरी तरह अव्यवस्था, अविश्वास और अराजकता का प्रतीक बन चुकी है।

NEET के अब तक कम से कम 4 पेपर लीक हो चुके है - 2026, 2024, 2021, 2016!

राजस्थान के सीकर में परीक्षा से पहले handwritten “guess paper” मिलता है, जिसमें से 135 प्रश्न सीधे NEET के असली पेपर से मैच हुए। ये खुलेआम धड़ल्ले से बेचा जा रहा था और केंद्र सरकार को इसकी भनक तक नहीं पड़ती?

करोड़ों युवाओं के भविष्य से खिलवाड़ करना भाजपा की आदत बन चुकी है।

ये निकम्मी सरकार नौकरियाँ देती नहीं,
भर्ती-परीक्षा में धांधली करती है,
पेपर-लीक माफिया का संरक्षण करती है,
पकड़े जाने पर लीपा-पोती में जुट जाती है !!

NEET 2026 के पेपर लीक की खबर सुनी।

परीक्षा नहीं - NEET अब नीलामी है।

कई सवाल परीक्षा से 42 घंटे पहले WhatsApp पर बिक रहे थे।

22 लाख से ज़्यादा बच्चे साल भर रात-रात भर आँखें जलाकर पढ़ते रहे और एक रात में उनका भविष्य बाज़ार में सरेआम ���ीलाम हो गया। यह पहली बार नहीं है। 10 साल में 89 पेपर लीक - 48 बार दोबारा परीक्षा। हर बार वही वादे, और फिर वही ख़ामोशी।

मोदी जी, जब आप अपनी हर नाकामी का बिल जनता पर डालते हैं, तो ग़रीब के बच्चों का भविष्य भी उसी बिल में आता है।

22 लाख बच्चों का भरोसा टूटा है। और मोदी सरकार से बड़ा ख़तरा भारत के युवाओं के सपनों के लिए कोई नहीं।

मैं भारत के युवा के साथ हूँ। यह वक़्त बेहद मुश्किल है - मैं जानता हूँ। लेकिन यह व्यवस्था ऐसे नहीं रहेगी। हम मिलकर इसे बदलेंगे।

Modi Govt is anti-labour, anti-worker and pro-cronies!

The Opposition parties protested against the Modi Govt in Parliament today, expressing our strong objection about the newly implemented Labour Codes. Some of the serious concerns in the New Codes are -

Threat to Job Security

- Layoff threshold raised from 100 to 300 workers i.e. more than 80% of factories in India can now lay off or retrench workers without government approval, reducing job security.
- Expansion of Fixed Term Employment (FTE) will end many permanent jobs.
- Companies can now hire workers on short-term contracts, avoiding long-term benefits.

Working Hours and Shifts
Although the Code keeps an 8-hour day on paper, states can allow 12-hour shifts through flexible scheduling. Coupled with state-determined overtime limits, this effectively permits much longer workdays, increasing fatigue and safety risks even when labelled “consensual.”

Weakened Trade Unions and Collective Rights

- Workers must wait 60 days before striking, plus a 14-day cooling-off period. This prevents quick action against unsafe or unfair conditions.
- Requiring one union with 51% membership to be the sole negotiator sidelines smaller unions and reduces representation for diverse worker groups.
- Even the alternative negotiating council (comprised of 20% of workers) may leave many workers without a meaningful voice.
- If 50% of workers take leave together, it is treated as a strike. This increases the chances of penalties and makes collective bargaining harder.

Standing Orders and Medium-sized Units
- Standing orders will not apply to units with fewer than 300 workers.
- Basic rules on working hours, leave, and termination will not be mandatory.
- This may increase arbitrary “hire and fire” practices in medium-sized units.

Weakened Safety and Welfare

- By raising the definition of a factory to 20 workers (with power) and 40 workers (without power) where violations and unsafe conditions are most common, they fall outside the law’s safety net.
- Sector-specific protections for vulnerable groups (journalists, beedi workers) have been merged into general codes, reducing safeguards.
- Important details, such as floor wage calculation and social-security thresholds, are no longer fixed in the main law. They are to be notified as Rules, which the government can change through simple notifications, weakening parliamentary oversight and worker protections.
- Since the state governments can exempt any workplace from the Social Security Code, core safety and welfare protections can be easily bypassed.

Impact on Migrant and Informal Workers

- The Code fails to extend safeguards for migrants, removing the displacement allowance and retaining a restrictive ₹18,000 income cap that leaves many migrants without protection.
- Mandatory Aadhaar-based registration risks leaving out migrants and informal workers who often face documentation errors or limited digital access, creating barriers to social-security enrolment.

Weak Accountability for Violations

By allowing offences to be settled for a fee, the Code turns wage violations into a payable cost, weakening accountability and effectively monetising illegality.

Excerpts from my felicitations for the Hon’ble Chairman, Rajya Sabha —

Hon’ble Chairman, Indian National Congress staunchly stands by constitutional values and time-honored parliamentary traditions and structured debates and smooth conduct of the proceedings of the House. Hence, Sir, kindly be assured of our cooperation withyou in the conduct of the proceedings of the House.

Fair and impartial conduct of proceedings of the House and providing just opportunity to members of each party, irrespective of the fact whether they belong to the Opposition or treasury benches, needless to state, is essential for the credibility of this august office.

In this context of time-honoured parliamentary traditions, I hope you will not mind that I am constrained to refer to your predecessor’s completely unexpected and sudden exit from the Office of Chairman, Rajya Sabha, which is unprecedented in the annals of parliamentary history. Chairman, Rajya Sabha, being custodian of the entire House, belongs as much to the opposition as to the government. I was disheartened that the House did not get an opportunity to bid him a farewell. Regardless, I wish him, on behalf of the entire opposition, a very healthy life.

It is our fond hope, rather, we are confident that you will take care of the entire sections of the House. Sir, we are confident that you will be impartial and treat the opposition and the treasury benchesin equal measure.

Our ASHA sisters have been fighting for what ought to be their right -to be recognised as permanent employees. They are the backbone of the rural healthcare system; frontline workers who brave every adversity to serve millions of Indians. Despite the vast scope of their work and the long hours demanded of them, Prime Minister Modi’s government refuses to recognise them as legitimate employees.

In response to my question in parliament on whether the centre plans to recognise ASHA workers as formal employees and offer them social security, the government merely reiterated that they are ‘volunteers’. This is a grave injustice. They serve society for over 40 hours a week and all they get are honorariums that are way below the minimum wage. The women of India deserve more respect than this.

I urge the government to regularise ASHA workers and assure them the respect and dignity that is rightfully owed to them.
