If this video is authentic, what troubles me isn’t a person’s identity, it’s the message.

No teacher, counselor, mentor, or activist should be encouraging children to see their parents as the enemy without evidence of abuse or danger. Healthy families should be strengthened, not divided.

Over the years, I’ve observed movements and ideologies that, in my opinion, place greater emphasis on creating alternative family structures than on preserving the God-given order of father, mother, and child. I believe children deserve to know where they came from, who loves them, and that their family should be their first source of guidance whenever possible.

When any adult begins competing with parents for a child’s trust, affection, or loyalty, I believe we’ve crossed a dangerous line. Children belong in the care of their families, not the influence of adults seeking to replace them.

Scripture warns us that “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” To me, one of the clearest ways destruction begins is by driving a wedge between parents and their children.

Protect the children. Strengthen the family. Everything else comes second.
