since Graham cheered the deaths of Iranian schoolchildren & urged more war--"we're killing the right people"--it would be curious if people did not respond appropriately to his passing. calling him "conservative" is a kindness: in his fawning adulation of T***p he was as close to a US fascist as it is possible to get.
After the Harris debate in 2024, I walked up to Lindsey Graham outside the spin room, he immediately laced into me for how I had turned on the GOP. He was red-faced, spittling as he ranted. A heated back and forth ensued. It petered out and I started walking away. He followed me, made a wry remark about Trumps debate prep team being a disaster. I turned around. He told a funny old story from the 2016 campaign. We laughed. He gave a pat on the shoulder and pretended like he might come on the podcast. That encounter was Lindsey in a nutshell.
Wish things had been different the last ten years. Alas. Will have more tomorrow. RIP.
Lindsey Graham will go down a one of the most bloodthirsty and sadistic senators in US history. There was no moral line he wouldn’t cross, no child he wouldn’t sacrifice. Stiff competition, but he really had a commitment to evil that’s hard to match
sounds like Georgia needs a Democratic Socialist ticket to--literally-- save the lives & well-being of citizens like these trapped by establishment politics & a "data center in your backyard."
