➡️ Samsung is facing a shortage of custom display driver chips, and UMC cannot make them fast enough to meet current needs.
➡️ Samsung may divert DDI stock meant for future products to support Fold 8 production, while Galaxy Z Flip 8 demand is weaker.

After using both phones for a while, we compared the crease on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the OPPO Find N6 again.

The result remains the same: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is better. Its inner display is noticeably flatter, with a less visible crease.

As for the other foldables, there’s really no need to compare them anymore. They’ve already lost this battle.

At this point, I think we can confidently say that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 currently has the best crease-control solution in the smartphone industry.

Now all eyes are on the iPhone Ultra. How will Apple deal with the crease? And more importantly, can it actually beat Samsung?

BREAKING！According to Samsung Electronics, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series recorded 1.44 million preorders in South Korea, setting a new all-time preorder record for the Galaxy lineup.

This result far surpassed the 1.04 million preorders achieved by last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 series. It also exceeded the previous record of 1.38 million set by the Galaxy Note 10 series, as well as the 1.35 million preorders recorded by the Galaxy S26 series.

The wide-format foldable Galaxy Z Fold 8 accounted for 70% of all preorders, meaning that this model alone reached approximately 1 million preorders in South Korea.
