On This Day — August 14, 1947

The world accepted the partition of India that killed up to two million people and uprooted 15 million more.

It has never forgiven the Jews for accepting a far smaller partition that their enemies rejected and then tried to destroy by war.

In August 1947, the British rushed the division of the Indian subcontinent. Roughly 14–15 million people fled. Between one and two million were slaughtered. Trains arrived packed with corpses. Tens of thousands of women were raped or abducted.

The world treated this bloodbath as the tragic but inevitable birth of two nations. India and Pakistan were accepted as legitimate states.

That same year, the UN offered a far smaller partition for British Mandate Palestine. The Jews accepted it. The Arab states rejected it and launched a war to prevent the birth of any Jewish state in any part of the Land.

When that war ended, the Jews had a state. The side that chose war called their defeat at the hands of the wildly outmanned and outgunned Jews the “Nakba,” and has spent the next 78 years demanding the world treat the Jewish state’s very existence as uniquely illegitimate.

One partition produced rivers of blood and is remembered as history.

The other produced a Jewish state that survived and is treated as the permanent moral crime of the age.

This is not a double standard.
It is an Israel standard.

It seems the pursuit of Middle East always involves pressuring the hell out of Israel to: 1. abandon defeating its enemies and/or 2. giving up land or a militarily superior position to regimes and terror groups that are committed to its destruction.  And Israel is always promised some kind of lasting peace if it only relents and goes along with the latest plan or program.  Of course, Israel cannot survive too many misjudgments or unrealistic demands from us or anyone else.  The Israelis pay a high price.  Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan don't appear to give up much or anything.  Yet, they're celebrated for not committing acts of war or backing those who do, not exactly a high bar.

I suggest that Christian Britons, Germans, French, Canadians, and Americans thoroughly study what Muslims are doing to Christians in Nigeria so they can prepare their children and grandchildren for a similar fate. A true story:

A cousin on my mom’s side made it to Belgium and got his papers through marriage. Once he understood how the system worked, he learned how to exploit it.

Later, he arranged papers for his mother, my aunt. She now receives social benefits from Belgium, around €1000 a month from what I was told. It’s called “GRAPA” (now it’s 1600 euros/month). The condition is simple: she has to actually live in Belgium and prove that she lives independently there.

Except she doesn’t.

My aunt is not poor. She receives her husband’s retirement income, owns real estate, and has other sources of income, of course all in Morocco. She also went Mecca performed hajj (8000 euros trip), Yet she claimed Belgian welfare and allegedly created a fake housing arrangement. Another Moroccan provided a fake lease for an apartment he owns so she could claim it as her Belgian residence.

In reality, she spends most of her time in Morocco, living comfortably while collecting roughly €1000 or more a month from Belgium. That alone is comparable to a very high monthly salary in Morocco.

And here comes the unbelievable part: usually, before authorities come to verify whether she actually lives at the address, they send her a letter announcing the inspection.

Yes, you read that correctly. They warn her before checking whether she is cheating.

So her son buys her a cheap ticket to Brussels. She flies in, goes to her supposed apartment, waits for the official, opens the door and plays the role of a Belgian resident. Box checked. Residency “verified.” Then she gets back on a plane and returns to Morocco while the benefits keep coming.

Funny, but true.

She also gets her medical checkups done while in Belgium at government expense. But “government money” is not some magical pile of cash. It is the money of hardworking Belgian taxpayers.

And my aunt is not an isolated case. I have heard many stories of Moroccans collecting European social benefits while owning property, investing in businesses, or spending much of their lives back in Morocco. Some have turned exploiting the welfare system into an art.

Immigrants teach other immigrants the tricks. Which benefits can you claim? What do you tell the authorities? How do you arrange an address? What do you hide? Which loopholes work? Knowledge gets passed around.

What makes my aunt’s case especially outrageous is that she never contributed a penny to the Belgian welfare system. She never worked there. She never spent decades paying Belgian taxes. Yet she learned how to collect from a system financed by people who did.

European welfare systems were built for high-trust societies. They assumed that most people would tell the truth, obey the rules, and feel ashamed of stealing from their neighbors through fraud. Import people from societies where that level of institutional trust does not necessarily exist, combine it with generous benefits and weak enforcement, and then act surprised when some people exploit every loophole they can find.

Meanwhile, the Belgian who worked for 30 or 40 years cannot easily hide his house, salary, bank accounts, or daily life. He lives inside the system. The government can see him.

My aunt lives thousands of miles away, keeps much of her financial life in Morocco, flies into Belgium when necessary, passes the inspection, collects the benefits, gets medical care, and flies back.

Who pays for this circus?

The Belgian taxpayer.

To all of these people I have a favour to ask.

When your country is conquered, when your governments fall, when your democracies and freedoms are ripped away, replaced with Sharia, when attacks like Oct 7 happen in your countries, in your cities, when you are forced to convert to Islam or be executed or enslaved, when these things happen, please don’t act shocked. Please don’t pretend to be surprised.

You are being told by many of us what’s going on, and you pretend you don’t hear.

You are being shown the signs of what Islamism is all about, and you pretend you don’t see.

You have heard the Islamists tell you exactly what they intend to do, and you claim they’re not going to.

You have been told that Israel is fighting this threat to help save our entire civilization, and you turn your back on her, you betray her, you abandon her.

So when it happens - not “if”, when - don’t feign surprise. Don’t pretend you didn’t know.

Don’t say that nobody told you. Don’t claim you didn’t see the signs. Don’t you dare say “if only we knew”.

You have been told. You have been shown. We have been screaming from the mountaintops since Oct 7, some of us since before then.

You have intentionally put your head in the sand and kept it there.

You have chosen to stop thinking critically and to believe the propaganda.

You have elected governments who have enabled and emboldened and empowered the invasion of our countries.

You have turned your back on fellow humans who would have done anything for you, to support savages who want to destroy you.

Our fate will be the same.

My final thoughts will be that I did everything in my power to help stop this from happening. To help prevent the conquering of our civilization. To help save humanity.
