Lagoa RodrigoFreitas

Rowing and Canoing Lake for the Rio 2016 Olympics. Surprisingly windy for sports that wish it wasn't.

Just recovering from epic final days of @Paralympics had to spend all yesterday simply wallowing…well then, everyone's gone home, what now?

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Incredible performance, well done all involved! @majorscov @gbrowingteam #goldenlagoon ;)

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

@majorscov @teamgb @sunsetandvine @rio2016 Today’s advice: wear suncream. For now…

@philgunney @matthewcpinsent @anne200solo ah, my northern hemisphere cousin…went to university together, I think he copied my notes though

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

@HeleneRaynsford @BritishCanoeing @GBRowingTeam yeah but no one dominates me...zephyr or tropical storm tomorrow?

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Also gave to hand it to @ParalympicsGB @BritishRowing @GBRowingTeam for their astonishing achievement, 3 Gold & 1 Bronze... #dominating

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Well that about wraps up the @Paralympics rowing, much respect to those that raced. Fantastic competition too!

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

@matthewcpinsent @Rachel44Morris It’s all “character building”…or something.

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Only a few days away until round two and the Paralympians kick off their show here...don't look away now folks, it's going to be epic!

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Well. The curtain has finally dropped. Been great having all Olympians but don't be sad, Paralympians are coming!

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Seems like the rowing lake in #Rotterdam2016 has learned from the best...well done! https://t.co/TrJwFR5C8s

[World Rowing @WorldRowing]

Latvia will proceed through to the repechage, despite flipping in the last 50m of the race. #Rotterdam2016

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

At least there aren’t any unwanted body-parts floating about https://t.co/EzRjnKFYo4

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

Can't argue with that. Never give up. https://t.co/1lp9SA0sLc

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

How fast are those K2 200’s?!! #rapid

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

So, yeah sorry sailors. We can't all have it good... Maybe there'll be some wind for you tomorrow?

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

See…really not that bad after all. https://t.co/rQJsZpVXIk

[Paddle UK @paddle_uk]

Wow 📷

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

@britishcanoeing @matthewcpinsent More fun watching people who don’t usually get wet, get wet. Canoeists do those roll things all the time…

[Lagoa RodrigoFreitas @Lagoa_Rodrigo]

I think these canoer-types have been having it far too easy in all this sunshine…
