@alchemyzed @MV33Racing There's a certain respect b/w MV & CL. Even if they're racing hard, they'd race fairly to each other. CL knew there is nothing he can do for the team atm but they grew up racing on the tracks & have fondness for each other, hence he wanted to help his friend win, if he can't win.

Not arguing that Charles messed this one up badly, because he did. This was his mistake, nobody else’s and a big one.

But did people really expect him to adapt flawlessly, overnight, to brake discs he’d never used before? Never ever during his whole career.

Right now, he essentially has to relearn what he’s capable of with this combination and rebuild that understanding from scratch and this takes time.

I have to say it again, I never said it was Charles’s fault.

Charles was right not to test brakes from another company he doesn’t know at all. He is ABSOLUTELY AND COMPLETELY RIGHT, because we are in Monaco and he simply cannot test that here.

Now regarding Lewis, he found a solution FOR HIM, and that’s good for him, credit to him. Charles could not find that solution because he has never driven with any brakes other than Brembo, so he doesn’t know other brake disc systems. I don’t see what is wrong with saying that Lewis has found a solution that works for him for now (we’ll see in Barcelona). If it were the other way, we would all be happy. Don’t forget that last year in Austin, because of the LICO, Charles had found a solution regarding the brakes, especially with brake-by-wire, and we were all happy that Charles had managed to find a miracle solution for those brakes.

Now obviously Ferrari and Brembo need to fix these problems. The fact that Lewis changed brake discs clearly shows there is an issue at Ferrari regarding these brakes. Yes, it’s Ferrari’s fault. Yes, it’s Brembo’s fault. It is not Charles’s fault. Now if you think I don’t like Charles or that I don’t defend him (which makes me laugh a lot), then block me. 🙃
