Pakistan’s remittances saw a notable increase of 10.7% during FY24.

The country received $30.3 billion in remittances from abroad in July-June FY24, compared with $27.3 billion in the previous year.

Remittances for the entire year FY24 came close to the government’s $30.3 billion target exceeding the State Bank of Pakistan’s projection of $25.5-26.5 billion. In June, workers’ remittances reached $3.2 billion, marking a 44.4% increase from the $2.2 billion received in the same month last year. However, there was a 2.6% decrease in inflows compared with the previous month.

وزیراعظم پاکستان، وزیر دفاع، وزیر اطلاعات، آرمی چیف اور حاضر سروس اور ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران، جوانوں اور شہید کے لواحقین کی بڑی تعداد نے نماز جنازہ میں شرکت کی۔
اس موقع پر وزیراعظم نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ یہ قربانیاں پرامن اور خوشحال پاکستان کے لیے ہر قسم کی دہشتگردی کو شکست دینے کے ہمارے عزم کی تصدیق کرتی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ قوم ان غیر ملکی دہشت گردوں اور ان کے سہولت کاروں کے خلاف پرعزم ہے اور پاکستان کے ان دشمنوں کو پورے نظام کے نقطہ نظر پر مبنی ملٹی ڈومین حکمت عملی کے ذریعے مکمل شکست دی جائے گی، انشاء اللہ۔
شہید کو ان کے آبائی شہر میں سپرد خاک کیا جائے گا جہاں انہیں پورے فوجی اعزاز کے ساتھ سپرد خاک کیا جائے گا۔
