The Gift of Prayer for One Another
The Promised Messiah (as) stated: 'One should not distinguish between himself and his brother, and should become their well-wisher with all one's heart.' It is as if Allah the Almighty gives an emphatic command and says: 'O My servants, give the gift of prayer to each other, just as brothers and those who love each other give gifts to one another.' Just as brothers and those who love each other give gifts to one another so that love may increase and the relationship may become even stronger, in the same way, you should give the gift of prayer to one another.

Eid: Fostering Reconciliation, Unity, and Care for Others
In this, Allah the Almighty has urged Muslims towards mutual reconciliation, unity, and friendship; and that the supplicant should put himself through hardship for the well-wishing (Khair-khwahi) of his brother, just as he puts himself through hardship for his own well-wishing.
Thus, when this mindset develops, then during the days of Eid, we will also be mindful of our brothers. We will take steps towards reconciliation. We will not allow minor grievances and trivial differences to create distances between us; rather, we will be the well-wishers of one another and desire good for each other. Just as a person desires well-being for himself and puts himself through hardship to attain good things—similarly, to attain blessings, he should also strive for his brother.
