@pocoloco21310 @SamQuinnCBS Right! He instantly goes to one of the best backups in the league at this point. Especially at that price. Center rotation is a strength now for the Lakers. And in a market where everyone seems to be after center depth could be a very trade-able player at the deadline if need be.

All things considered I give the #Lakers a ‘B+” on their offseason so far.

Key rotational additions like Smart, Ayton and LaRavia while not spending any tradable assets out is a sneaky good offseason.

@deadboylyfee I think Thybulle is a great trade target. Marcus Smart and Amir Coffee are great available options. Melton to but seems like that has cooled.

@LakeShowYo He’s 32..Fasting forward to 35 there’s good chance of it being considered a bad contract. Could be tough to move off of in the twilight of Luka’s prime. With already so little assets — just didn’t fit the Luka timeline. Bummer we couldn’t get a shorter deal done. Will be missed.

Solid pickup and fit with Luka for the #Lakers with Jake LaRavia. Not a center, but solid nonetheless. Losing DFS hurts but this helps.

@LakerCentral365 I think you have to entertain the offers but be prepared to pay the man at the same time. Keep him as a trading chip. If nothing you like comes along in the short term something usually does later.
