Chatting to a resident, discussing the beauty of some birch trees, he said he had heard birch trees in autumn referred to as ‘cornflake trees’.
Looking at the colour and form of the leaves on the trees and on the ground, I feel this is a very apt name, and it is giving me joy!
I try never to promote commercial stuff… and keep the blag to a minimum
But this would be an amazing Christmas present - the £ pays for amazing artisans to make the beautiful things, some goes back to the farmers, and it’s just special to have one

@sara_jayne67 @godzillagranny I was 16 when I went camping with three other friends for two weeks in Paignton. When we were 18 the same 4 travelled overland to Greece for four weeks. I celebrated my 70th Birthday recently and two of those friends were with me. Sadly one died a few years ago. Friends for life.
