@ringfist@chi_urbanist the city of chicago doesn’t officially designate neighborhood boundaries, so you won’t find an official map with it. they only divide officially based on the 77 community areas, with the last change being the edgewater/uptown split in the 80s.
@chi_urbanist the new business owners that came in the 80s wanted it to be called northalsted, however it was already being referred to as boystown in the 70s
