That level of wealth creation from a single individual is almost unbelievable. Someone worth roughly $20M in 2001 after selling Zip2 turning that into more than $500B in just 24 years is something we’ve never seen before. It’s not just the scale of the wealth, it’s the sheer range of industries he’s disrupted simultaneously. It’s hard to imagine there will be another Elon, especially considering how many sectors he’s pushing forward at once.

The future Elons will be those who can successfully carry out asteroid mining in commercial scale and he probably might be among the first to do it considering his connections and available resources.
The Chinese are known for their capabilities in science & technology. Not many pay attention to their prodigious rise in humanities and the arts.
Alerted by their striking capabilities in political communication, capabilities in design, and more, I decided to study this some more and I’m not really surprised by my findings.
Knowledge, in the end, is not fully divisible into arts and science. Those are systems of representation we have come to take far too seriously, in modern times.
Natural resources are not yet economic resources. Societies move forward by being deliberate and intentional. Those that merit the tag of DEVELOPED, whichever route they chose, got there through creativity and hard work.
They did not look to the skies for miracles.
