@lilyhnewman@Android@Apple A request was made last month to @Apple via Apple Security asking the Safari Browser include detailed connection information and a way to configure cipher suites. Check it out.
@tim_cook
Look at all the protections @Windows has, including a built-in granular outbound firewall, virus protection, and advanced memory protection.
What does Mac OS offer other than basic ASLR?
@EdwardSRogers No response/action on this yet. Perhaps you can bring it to attention of @Rogers CEO Joe.
It's a long thread, but in sum, it's saying to stop showing people's MAC addresses in their reverse DNS strings. Technically simple to do too.

A Canadian ISP, @Rogers, is exposing certain sensitive customer data to the internet and failing to secure its customers from long-term persistent targeting by malicious advertisers and hackers. This problem is caused by the way IP addresses are assigned.

@gmail Hi G-Mail Team,
How does it feel coming to work each day and being part of an effort which deceived 99% of its users for 10 years by enthusiastically participating in the US PRISM program?
And feelings aside, what effect does it have on each of your psyches, your consciences?
@gatoclysm @WDCreators If you try to manually change the download link to https from http, it won't connect at all, meaning these clowns have no TLS enabled for their downloads at all. After that, there is no signature verification for the downloaded file, and again, no hashes. All this in 2019.
@gatoclysm @WDCreators Came across this randomly, but heads up about WDC firmware: they don't encrypt the firmware download connection, so the file can be tampered with in transit. They also don't publish the hashes for their firmware files. Avoid WDC NAS devices. Go with a real NAS or build your own.
@Sushubh@KieranCairns@eastdakota@Cloudflare There may also be no NAT protection, and no disparate inbound/outbound addressing to prevent traffic log correlation.
No answers from @eastdakota yet on these issues. Still awaiting his reply.
So @Apple has finally responded to these concerns and will investigate further. I do not know what their confidentiality agreement involves in these matters so I do not want to post their actual replies. But they do know and will investigate further.

@elonmusk Heard the US government took you to court yesterday. This is only one more reason you need to move your entire company to China. Nobody will harass you or your company there. China understands the importance of development and innovation.
