@MidwestGolfJake At the range, (with driver) hit 10 balls at each of the distance markers. 100, 125, 150 etc.. when you get it dialed, go 100, 200, 125, 225 etc... you'll start to feel the face.
@shadybiev Paul Runyan used do sort of a reverse forward press. Started his swing by moving his hands back first, creating kind of a "reverse lag" as his first move off the ball. Might be a helpful thought. Runyan did ok with it :-)
@Top100Rick OP has obviously never played with an elite lady player. They are PERFECTION. In my heyday, I hovered between 1 and +3. I've played with a 3x Women's US Open participant, 2 Women's State Champions & a Thai LPGA Pro. It was humbling and a true pleasure to experience.
@askslim Following "Market Week" for 2 yr now. I've missed timed the smaller down turns during the "up" market, no big harm. This time, wow. Moved 401k from SPX to cash March 31 after Market Week March 28th. Cash for a while, choppy/down til May/June. Thanks! @askslim
@Mike_kim714 For golfers who started young, it's true. The body changes a great deal between 21 and 30. Muscles get tighter and for some bulkier. The "Feels" are much different. It's a constant rebuild every few years. Tianlangย Guan, Tadd Fujikawa are a couple of examples that come to mind.
@incolnlay Nice series! I grew up playing the L&M Front 9 @ Vincennes. It was most interesting those dry & firm summers when a shot had 2b landed just over one of the features & run out had to be managed. IMHO they designed for that pre-irrigation firm ground game.
@Mike_kim714 Do you "play to your stats" on specific courses? Example, if your stats are better from 140-150 than 120-110 (example) and you are at a course where you have to hit less than driver to leave that "best" distance, do you work that into your weekly game plan?
