@SawyerMerritt @Tesla I’ve been a Waymo user in Los Angeles since launch (04/24) prices were significantly less than now. Still slightly less expensive than Uber/Lyft but that’s largely because of no need to tip. I’d be surprised if Tesla doesn’t follow a similar trajectory. Chart source: Gemini

@Avatrode Corner case. I live in an area of LA impacted by the fires. There’s a temporary requirement to drive 25 mph on several stretches of road w/speed limits that vary from 35 to 45 mph. It’s been tough with 14.1.4 to enforce the 25 mph. Car keeps auto-adjusting to previous limits.

@friedberg Yesterday’s coordinated effort of local volunteers, #LAPD & #LAFD escorting Palisades residents to their homes. Unlikely this would’ve been done w/out gov’t coordination. Days prior, chaos ensued as bereft residents scrambled to get back. Ingress and egress was choked.
