According to National Forest Resources Assessment Report 2021, Kenya has surpassed the 10% target and has a tree cover of 12.13% and 8.83% forest cover. Nyeri leads with a tree cover of 45.17% followed by Lamu at 44.06%, Mandera at the bottom at 3.61% #WorldEnvironmentDay
